Workshop Summary:

Do you know your personality type? Do you prefer being organized and following a schedule or playing it by ear? Are you energized by being around people or by spending time alone? Whatever your personality type is, it affects all aspects of your life. Find out your type and how knowing more about it can gel you in communicating with people, planning your future and even getting to know yourself better.

 

Workshop Objective:

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Training, usually involves the following:

  • To increase your understanding of your own personality preferences
  • To analyze the individual strengths, blind spots and areas for improvements
  • To increase your understanding of individual differences and how to use this diversity to your team’s advantages
  • To increase your awareness of how your behaviour and your preferred way of working affects yourself and others
  • To increase your communication skills in order to enhance your ability to understand other and be understood personally
  • To learn skills and practices on valuing diversity

    • What fits or does not fit in the type description
  • Understanding Each Dichotomy – (Group Exercises & Group Presentation)
    • Understanding The Opposite – Your personality type represents your preferences in four separate categories composed of two opposite poles
      • Into Which Work Does My Energy Flow? – Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I)
        • Extraverted – The outer environment of people, things, variety, activity
        • Introverted – The inner work of concepts and ideas
      • How Do I Perceive Reality (gather information)? – Sensing (S) or Intuition (N)
        • Sensing – Through the senses gather facts, trusting detail, prefers present reality
        • Intuition – Finding patterns, possibilities more future – orientated
      • The way you make your decisions. – Thinking (T) or Feeling (F)
        • Thinking – Objective in approach, looks at pros and cons, considers the logical outcome
        • Feeling – Subjective in approach considers from “inside” the situation, applies own personal values, seeks harmonious outcome
      • How you deal with the outer world. – Judging (J) or Perceiving (P)
        • Judging – Prefers to plan in advance, have structure and make decisions
        • Perceiving – Prefers remaining open to situations as they arise, adaptable, open-ended

Cost: Workshop Facilitator Rate

Half Day $700.00

Full Day $1,400.00

Material Costs: $50-70 per person

 

Additional expenses for your organization include my travel costs from Medicine Hat to your location and return to Medicine Hat (flights or mileage @ $0.51/km), accommodations (to be booked by your organization), cab or pick-up to/from airport and a meal allowance of $75.00/day.
